I have always lived in Brooklyn, NY. I am a member of the Board at Temple Sholom, a conservative, egalitarian synagogue, and serve as chair on a couple of committees. I grew up in the Orthodox tradition but in my 20’s I decided to choose the path in Judaism that came closest to my ideology, and ended up in the Conservative movement. I have a wife and two children and I am a stay-at-home dad.

I am a devoted husband to a lovely wife, a proud father to two great sons and an attorney in private practice in Lower Manhattan. As the child of Holocaust survivors, I was raised to be very proud of my Jewish identity. My family has been very active in Temple Sholom of Flatbush since we moved to the area. I currently serve on the Board of Trustees and have served on a number of committees. I am also a Board Member of the Kings Bay YM-YWHA. I am looking forward to the SPARK Fellowship and learning how to make our synagogue even better in the years to come!
